Gooey Vegan Brownies

Dry Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat or gluten free flour
2 cups raw cane sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup vegan dark chocolate chips
½ cup crushed walnuts

Wet Ingredients:

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup almond milk
1 ripe spotted banana, mashed


Preheat oven to 350 F

Mash banana with a fork in a large bowl

Add in all wet ingredients and mix together in the large bowl

Mix together all the dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients

Line brownie pan with thin layer of coconut oil (I used a square 8″ pan)

Fill pan with batter and put in the oven for approximately 35 minutes
