How long is Manoa Falls Trail?
Overall the round trip is 1.5 hours (30 minutes up and 30 minutes back)
Manoa Falls Trail is a beginner hike/walk and it is a nice 2 hour round trip including time at the falls. The trailhead is located at the Paradise Park building/restaurant at the above address and you can park there for $5 USD. You simply take a blue parking slip from the parking attendant and pay in the shop in the building. There is a restroom in the building and also at the beginning of the trail.
The trail is clearly marked and it is very popular for all types of visitors to the island of Oahu. Going early in the morning is best and the trail is nice and quick and a great way to start your day. The highlights on the trail are the lookouts and views of the dense Hawaiian rainforest of the Manoa Valley, rather than the 150 ft waterfall at the end!
The trail has some very unique views including this popular tree shoot tunnel!
Also, the dense collection of bamboo:

Can you swim at Manoa Falls?
Although the end of the trail is roped off, you are able to take a quick dip in the end but the waterfall pool, as you can see, is very small due to a landslide in 2002.
I would recommend doing the hike just to see the views of the rainforest and worth the 2 hours or less you will spend here. Take a look at the insane forest below:
Tips for the Manoa Falls Hike:
Light snack or fruit
$5USD for parking
You can walk a bit further to the trailhead by parking in the residential area right before the above address, but please do not block the driveways, mailboxes, or the road as it is narrow.
